چکیده
A parallel-mechanism-equivalent model for repeatability analysis of an overconstrained kinematic coupling is proposed. An Kelvin-type with one additional support introduced and used method illustration. Contact forces the under a preload are computed Moore-Penrose inverse, deformations obtained using Hertz theory. The equivalently modeled as 7-SPS parallel mechanism, spherical joints which represent centers supporting balls contact points, prismatic to simulate deformations. Therefore, pose error due analyzed well-appraised incremental forward kinematics mechanisms. uncertainties discussed boundary-sampling proposed analysis. main contribution this study lies in greatly simplified couplings by method. Finally, methods validated case study.

Kinematic Mapping and Forward Kinematic Problem of a 5-DOF (3T2R) Parallel Mechanism with Identical Limb Structures
The main objective of this paper is to study the Euclidean displacement of a 5-DOF parallel mechanism performing three translation and two independent rotations with identical limb structures-recently revealed by performing the type synthesis-in a higher dimensional projective space, rather than relying on classical recipes, such as Cartesian coordinates and Euler angles. In this paper, Study's...
متن کاملStiffness Analysis of Overconstrained Parallel Manipulators
The paper presents a new stiffness modeling method for overconstrained parallel manipulators with flexible links and compliant actuating joints. It is based on a multidimensional lumped-parameter model that replaces the link flexibility by localized 6-dof virtual springs that describe both translational/rotational compliance and the coupling between them. In contrast to other works, the method ...
متن کاملDesign and Kinematic Analysis of a 4-DOF Serial-Parallel Manipulator for a Driving Simulator
This paper presents the kinematic analysis and the development of a 4-degree-of-freedom serial-parallel mechanism for large commercial vehicle driving simulators. The degrees of freedom are selected according to the target maneuvers and the structure of human motion perception organs. Several kinematic properties of parallel part of the mechanism under study are investigated, including the inve...
متن کاملMethods for Force Analysis of Overconstrained Parallel Mechanisms: A Review
The force analysis of overconstrained PMs is relatively complex and difficult, for which the methods have always been a research hotspot. However, few literatures analyze the characteristics and application scopes of the various methods, which is not convenient for researchers and engineers to master and adopt them properly. A review of the methods for force analysis of both passive and active ...
